Commentary
Recently, I have been observing my interaction—man’s interaction—with nature. I’m trying to think creatively about what will change—in us and in nature—when “creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God” (Romans 8:21).
One of my birdbaths was bone dry; it had no water at the very time when birds need it most. Now I’m trying to fill it every day. I have to ask myself: “Was this birdbath merely a decoration for my property, or was it a provision for the creatures in my care?”
