Commentary

I’ve gotten into poison ivy three or four times in my life. This last time (about a month ago) was the worst. The intense itching on my arm would start up shortly after I went to bed each evening, and I really was desperate! As it turns out, that was one of several recent experiences that highlight the need for self-control—and for assistance in achieving it.
