Commentary

I’ll chalk this thought up to settling back into our house after the fire and 10-month restoration. Having lots of “stuff” can be convenient, but most of the time it’s a burden.

If more of our possessions had been destroyed, I doubt I’d have missed them. On the other hand, it’s convenient that insurance would have paid for necessary replacements. A thankful spirit is the appropriate response.
