When, as former students we realize how much we were missing sleep…
When our addictions abate…
When we learn it was a now-defeated power that held us captive…
Then we celebrate.

When I was young, I envied the radical conversion. Then people assured me there was nothing there to be envied. Still, you probably have more clarity about your current situation vis-a-vis your former situation than many of us do.
